By profiling ncRNAs signatures in NSCLC tissues and matched noncancerous lung tissues, four snoRNAs (snoRD33, snoRD66, snoRD76 [102] and snoRA42 [103]) were found to be overexpressed in lung tumor tissues and it is supposed that they could be used as potential markers for early detection of non-smal cell lung cancer [102]. This evidence concerns the gene SNORD33 and lung cancer.
