A recent study reported that reconstitution of a NEMO-deficient clone of mouse 70Z/3 lymphoma cells, designated 1.3E2, with a murine NEMO mutant that is defective in binding to Ubdistal (NEMO-F312A) resulted in restoration of K13-induced NF-κB activation [64]. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is lymphoma.
