Using more recent follow-up data from EPIC, which now includes a total of 7,174 incident cases of breast cancer with information on ER status and 5,906 with additional PR status, we examined the relationships of anthropometric indices of adiposity (BMI, waist and hip circumferences) with risks of breast cancer subtypes defined by hormone receptor status, across five-year age bands spanning from premenopausal into postmenopausal years, and accounting for past or current use of menopausal HRT. Here, NR4A1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
