Indeed, we show for the first time that protein expression of BCL2L10, an anti-apoptotic member of the Bcl2 family is increased and correlated with AZA resistance in the AZA-resistant SKM1 cell line and that the percentage of BCL2L10 positive cells MDS primary sample patients can predict AZA resistance. This evidence concerns the gene BCL2L10 and myelodysplastic syndrome.
