RPS6KB1 and brain neoplasm: Figure 3(a) shows a heat map of coexpression profile analysis of S6K1 and hypoxia-induced genes in Pomeroy brain study [28]. The analysis showed a significant overexpression of S6K1 and hypoxia-induced genes in atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumour compared to normal cerebellum (Figure 3(a)). To extend the analysis to more studies we compared the expression profile of S6K1 and hypoxia-induced genes in 4 different brain tumours comprising 3 independent studies [27–29] (298 patients).  Figure 3(b) shows the comparison of S6K1 and hypoxia-induced genes expression profile across 4 different analyses.
