CRP and rheumatoid arthritis: Anti-CII-positive patients with RA had higher levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) (P = 0.0026) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) (P = 0.0396) and displayed a higher health assessment questionnaire (HAQ) score (P = 0.0303) at the time of diagnosis, compared to anti-CII-negative patients.
