The growth inhibition observed in the above-reported human cancer cell types using the NK-1 receptor antagonists L-733,060 or L-732,138 is in agreement with the findings of other studies, in which the use of SP antagonists other than L-733,060/L-732,138 inhibited the growth of small cell lung cancer and the U373 MG glioma cell line [173, 174].
