In this fully adjusted model, history of cardiovascular disease (β = 0.113; p = 0.002), presence of diabetes (β = 0.075; p = 0.035), smoking (β = 0.148; p < 0.001), phosphate level (β = 0.082; p = 0.024), PTH (β = 0.196; p < 0.001) and proteinuria (β = 0.113; p = 0.002) were positively associated with FGF23, while eGFR had an inverse association with FGF23 (β = -0.34; p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene PTH and cardiovascular disorder.
