We found a large down-regulation of SH3BGRL2 mRNA levels and even though the other two family members, SH3BGRL and SH3BGRL3, were not significantly down-regulated both showed lower expression in tumours (−1.7 and −3.2 fold respectively) indicating that the whole family may be decreased in tumours. The gene discussed is SH3BGRL3; the disease is neoplasm.
