The methylation status of ECEL1 and TMEM26 was significantly related to a high degree of tumor differentiation, with HR = 2.43 (95% CI, 1.19 to 4.97; P = 0.01) and 2.32 (95% CI, 1.11 to 4.85; P = 0.03), respectively (Figure 4), suggesting that they are involved in BC malignancy and progression.
