To assess whether loss of polarity protein-induced invasion is relevant in contexts other than ErbB2 activation in MCF-10A cells, we used a non-invasive tumor derived human cell line, MCF-7, and xenograft-selected MCF10AT displaying comedo-type Ductal-Carcinoma-In-Situ phenotype (DCIS.COM) cells. Here, ERBB2 is linked to ductal breast carcinoma in situ.
