We further analyzed the correlations between CDH1 methylation in PPW from GC patients and clinicopathologic parameters, then the results demonstrated that CDH1 methylation in preoperative peritoneal washes was significant correlated with tumor size, differentiation, clinical stage, invasive depth, lymphatic and venous invasion, lymph node metastasis, and distant metastasis (all P < 0.05). The gene discussed is CDH1; the disease is metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
