In contrast, the vast majority of wild-type mice inoculated with OVA-GFP-transduced lymphoma cells deficient for the IFN-γ receptor or STAT1 rejected the tumor cells and survived the observation period of 100 days indicating that IFN-γ signaling in the host but not in the tumor is required for rejection of OVA-GFP-transduced lymphomas.
