Surprisingly, a greater fraction of cyclin D1-positive nuclei was associated with longer TTR (HR = 0.60; 95% CI, 0.39 to 0.92; P = 0.03) when adjusted for the effects of tumour size, nodal status, grade and Ki67 expression (Figures 2d, 3b and Table 2).
