Indeed, OLFM4, a target gene of NF-κB pathway [16,17,25], has also shown a negative feedback effect on H. pylori infection-induced NF-κB activation in HEK 293 T cells [6], indicating the regulatory pathways controlled by OLFM4 in gastric cancer could be involved in a very complex and intricate network. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and gastric cancer.
