STMN1-positive tumors were more likely to be found in old age group (p = 0.07) and associated with p53 nuclear expression (p = 0.03), Univariate analysis indicated that old age (p<0.036), histology with diffuse component (p = 0.012), stage (p<0.0001), T stage (p = 0.012), N stage (p<0.0001), M stage (p<0.0001) and the presence of lymph node metastasis (p<0.0001) correlated with poor disease-specific survival. Here, TP53 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
