Subsequent studies revealed that FOXM1 was ubiquitously upregulated in the majority of human cancers [6], [7] which include brain, liver, breast, lung, stomach, pancreas, colon, kidney, bladder, prostate, testis, ovary, uterus, cervix, blood (acute myeloid leukaemia), cutaneous melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinomas [8], [9]. This evidence concerns the gene FOXM1 and cancer.
