Elevated evidences verified that fascin epithelial expression was significantly up-regulated in tumor tissues compared with adjacent benign tissues and the overexpression of fascin was associated with aggressive clinical course, poor prognosis and shorter survival of various tumors including prostate cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and etc. [29], [30], [31], [32], [33], [34], [35].
