Additionally, we found expression of genes such as Collagen, type I, alpha 1 (COL1A1), Exostoses (multiple) 1 (EST1), Exostoses (multiple) 2 (EXT2), Vimentin (VIM), and Osteoprotegerin (TNFRSF11B), which are known to be involved in development of conventional chondrosarcomas [34–38] (Supplementary Table 5a). The gene discussed is TNFRSF11B; the disease is chondrosarcoma.
