The genotypes of TAP1-2 GG homozygote and AG heterozygote were more frequent in subjects with TB than in controls, with odds ratio of 3.94 (95% CI: 1.82–8.53; P = 0.001) and 2.87 (95% CI: 1.75–4.71; P<0.0001), respectively. Here, TAP1 is linked to tuberculosis.
