Five genes with tumor suppressing properties, i.e. SPRY4 (Sprouty homolog 4) [26], DUSP4 and DUSP6 (dual-specificity phosphatases 4 and 6) [27], [28], LRIG1 (Leucine-rich repeats and Ig-like domains 1) [29] and PHLDA1 (Pleckstrin homology-like domain family A, member 1) [30], were upregulated by KGF (1.5–2.1 fold) (Table 1).
