Table S1 shows percent methylation at each CpG site analyzed and compared between tumor and normal tissues. No single CpG site analyzed can be identified as critical to inactivation of the Wnt7a promoter, however, there appears to be a trend toward increased methylation in tumors at CpG sites closer to the transcription start site. Two cell NSCLC cell lines, H157 and H1299, were identified as harboring Wnt7a promoter methylation by pyrosequencing and were used for subsequent in vitro experiments (Fig. 2B). Here, WNT7A is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
