In Saracino's series, 34 patients with localized PC with only one high-risk factor (Gleason score ≥ 7, clinical stage ≥ T2c, or prostate-specific antigen of 11–20 ng/mL) and without clinical evidence of lymph node metastases were treated with RP and IOERT on the tumor bed.
