In conclusion, by a combined qualitative evaluation of infiltrating T and NK cell subsets along with mRNA profiling of immune and tumor related genes, we showed that intratumoral enrichment of memory CD4 and CD8 T-cells may be predictive of a better clinical outcome, while iNKT-cell frequency and PDL1 expression were associated with shorter time to recurrence and overall survival, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and neoplasm.
