In the presence of the P2Y12 inhibitor A3P5P, the ability of Pred to inhibit platelet was lost, while with combination of MRS2395, a P2Y1 antagonist, we observed an additive effect of Pred, strongly suggesting that this GC regulates AD-induced platelet activation through modulation of the P2Y12/Gi signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene P2RY12 and Alzheimer disease.
