A recent report of an AdHu5 vectored malaria vaccine showed the same trend for antibody responses but significantly reduced T cell responses at the highest dose used [27], whereas dose finding studies with the MRKAd5-gag HIV vaccine showed a similar plateauing of T cell responses (as assessed by ex-vivo IFN-γ ELISPOT) at the highest doses used [50].
