We considered the probability of autoimmune cholangiopathy in a middle aged woman with unknown cholestasis, autoimmune hyperthyroidism who tested positive for ANA, but the patient had a very low level of anti nuclear antibodies in her serum and normal levels of IgG and IgM, and also the histologic findings were not consistent with PBC or autoimmune choangiopathy. The gene discussed is CD40LG; the disease is Graves disease.
