This study evaluates the association of three RAAS gene polymorphisms: ACE c.2306-117_404 I/D, AGTR1 c.1080*86A>C, CYP11B2 c.-344C>T and the extension of coronary lesions, represented by Gensini score, which is based on the number of stenotic coronary artery segments, and a degree of the luminal narrowing and the regional importance of the lesion’s position in the coronary tree (Gensini, 1983), and thus comprises the real reflection of the severity of the CAD. This evidence concerns the gene CYP11B2 and coronary artery disorder.
