This short paper will focus on bevacizumab and the novel antiangiogenic agents cediranib, cilengitide, sunitinib, sorafenib, vandetanib, aflibercept, ABT-510 (thrombospondin-1) XL184, and tandutinib that are currently in various stages of clinical development both on recurrent and untreated glioblastoma. This evidence concerns the gene THBS1 and glioblastoma.
