After crossing LoxPshBCCIP+/+ with GFAP-Cre+/− transgenic mice, we obtained 67 mice with a 32∶35 ratio between LoxPshBCCIP+/−;GFAPCre−/− and LoxPshBCCIP+/−;GFAPCre+/− (hereafter referred as BCCIP-CON and BCCIP-CKD, respectively) among 7 liters. This evidence concerns the gene GFAP and chronic kidney disease.
