Although each of the comparisons was associated with cancer, they differed in the most significant sub-classification of cancer related genes: T/ND = colorectal cancer (e.g. BRAF, MET); T/NB = increased in cancer (e.g. FBXW7, PDGFA); and T/N = increased in cancer, and identified additional genes that were not present in the other comparisons (e.g. MECOM, BRCA1). The gene discussed is PDGFA; the disease is cancer.
