Galamb et al. used microarrays to identify a set of three genes (KIAA1199, FOXQ1, and CA7) that were differentially expressed in adenomas relative to normal controls, as well as a set of five genes (VWF, IL8, CHI3L1, S100A8, and GREM1) which could discriminate cancer tissues from normal controls [19].
