TP53 and esophageal adenocarcinoma: Benoit et al. [18] found a correlation between COX2 expression and TP53 wild-type status in esophageal adenocarcinoma with Barrett's esophagus as a precursor lesion, but not in SCC, providing evidence that the participation of p53 in the regulation of COX2 expression in cancer may be dependent on tumor histology.
