A statically significant difference was found regarding the results from the OGTT (blood glucose on 0 and 60 min and IRI on 0, 60, and 120 min), HOMA-index, glucose/insulin ratio, the rate of hypertension and dislipidemia, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, HDL, VLDL, and TG (Table 2), the rate of liver steatosis and the levels of ALAT, GGT, and AP, and hematological results (WBC and ESR) (Table 3) between the lean and obese PCOS women. This evidence concerns the gene INS and polycystic ovary syndrome.
