CD34 and esophageal adenocarcinoma: Patients with oesophageal adenocarcinoma were more likely to be male (P<0.001), had higher infiltration of CD8+ (P<0.001) and CD68+ (P<0.01), had higher TNM stage (P<0.05), had neo-adjuvant therapy (P<0.01), and as well as had higher CD34+-positive microvessel compared with squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.001, Table 1).
