Compared with pretreatment titres, no changes were evident in the post-treatment period for T-cell subset counts (CD3, CD4, CD8, CD19, and CD56) or humoral immunity assessed by titres to common antigens (mumps, measles, rubella, varicella zoster, tetanus, Haemophilus influenzae type B, and pneumococcal antigens 1, 3, 4, 5, 6B, 7F, 8, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, and 23F). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and tetanus.
