In this study, we detected the inhibitory mechanisms of UTI on breast carcinoma growth via observations in in vivo and in vitro experiment of effects of UTI and TXT on the expression of human breast cancer cell lines, xenografted tumor, and insulin-like growth factor receptor 1 (IGF-1R), platelet-derived growth factor A (PDGFA), nerve growth factor (NGF). This evidence concerns the gene PDGFA and bacterial urinary tract infection.
