SDC1 and breast cancer: Although further studies are needed using a residualizing agent such as that described by Goldenberg and co-workers [26] or of radioactive metals such as lutetium-177 or yttrium-90 to increase the efficiency of RIT, here we show the potential of targeting CD138 for the treatment of breast cancer in the mouse model with a significant response rate despite the low number of antigen copies expressed by the triple-negative MDA-MB-468 cells.
