As seen in Figure 5A and Figure S2, the levels of CD4 cells producing IFN-γ, IFN-γ/TNF-α, or IFN-γ/TNF-α/IL2 all exceeded 1% in BCG vaccinated mice at week 2 of the P. yoelii infection (10 weeks post-BCG immunization) but declined at weeks 7 and 10 post-infection (15 and 18 weeks post-BCG vaccination).
