The levels of NKG2D mRNA in PBMCs in the patients were significantly lower than those in the controls [mean ± SD, 1.11±0.60 (CRC patients) vs. 1.65±0.71 (healthy controls); p<0.01], whereas the 2 groups showed no apparent difference in the levels of NKG2A mRNA (p>0.05). Here, KLRC1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
