Compared with patients in the NGG, levels of FPG, 2h-OGTT, fasting insulin, HOMA-β, HOMA-IR, SBP, WHR, hs-CRP, and IgE were significantly higher in the pre-diabetes group (PDG); levels of FPG, 2h-OGTT, fasting insulin, HOMA-β, HOMA-IR, TC, TG, BMI, WC, AC, WHR, hs-CRP, IgE, and chymase also were significantly higher in the diabetes mellitus group (DMG) (Table 1).
