Of these, TAT complexes and sTF correctly classified scrub typhus patients at the optimal cut-offs of ≥14.6 ng/mL and ≥387 pg/mL in 94.2% and 97.5% of the cohort, respectively, and VWF, sTM and tPA correctly classified murine typhus patients at the optimal cut-offs of ≥256%, ≥378 ng/mL and ≥14.5 ng/mL in 87.6%, 97.5% and 86.0% of the cohort, respectively (Table S1; Fig. S2).
