FSH, estradiol, the E2/T ratio, BMI, waist circumference, VAT, SAT, TAT, total body fat, truncal fat, total lean body mass, trunk lean body mass, CD4 count, CD4 nadir, and the number of months of HIV infection were all significantly different among the four groups of HIV-infected men designated as eugonadism, compensated hypogonadism, secondary hypogonadism, and primary hypogonadism (p<0.0001) (Table 4).
