HNRNPK and prostate cancer: Finally, rs7846200 has been reported to be an eQTL for multiple genes associated with cancer, including PTBP1, which affects the invasive capacity of cancer cell lines in a cell type-dependent manner [60], and HNRNPK, which interacts with the oncogene p53 and contributes to pancreatic cancer [61] and has been associated with prostate cancer [62].
