Figure 4A–I depicts serial sections from a day 30 teratoma stained with an array of differentiation markers, illustrating a non homogenous intra-teratoma distribution of proliferative areas (Ki67) largely overlapping with areas stained with CD56 (here a marker for ectoderm) and excluding areas stained with AFP (early marker for endoderm). The gene discussed is NCAM1; the disease is teratoma.
