Mutations in other genes such as anionic trypsinogen (PRSS2), the serine protease inhibitor Kazal type 1 (SPINK1), CFTR, chymotrypsinogen C (CTRC) and calcium-sensing receptor (CASR) are also associated with an increased risk for pancreatitis [133,134]. The gene discussed is CASR; the disease is pancreatitis.
