Univariate survival analysis of all 106 breast cancer patients revealed no significant association of total CHAC1 mRNA expression with the clinical endpoints (Table 2a), whereas high total CHAC1 mRNA expression was strongly associated with a high risk of death and relapse in the multivariate Cox regression model (RRdeath (1.3–7.1); P=0.012, RRrelapse 4.8 (1.6–14.6); P=0.005) (Table 3). Here, CHAC1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
