Similar with those above results, in this study, cotreatment with carvedilol also led to the reduction in myocardial fibrosis as evident from decreased area of myocardial fibrosis with Azan-Mallory staining (Figure 1(c)) and reduced myocardial expression of TGF-β1 (Figures 2(a) and 2(d)). Here, TGFB1 is linked to Myocardial fibrosis.
