Other factors associated with MetS at month-3 included male sex (female vs. male, OR 0.56, p = 0.0185), having a CRP ≥ 3 mg/L (adjusted OR of 2.00, p = 0.006), and receiving non-psychiatric concomitant medication (adjusted OR of 1.98, p = 0.059). Here, CRP is linked to metabolic syndrome.
