LZAP expression was investigated in 126 HCC surgical specimens using immunohistochemical staining; 76 (60.3%) cases showed low LZAP expression (LZAP− or LZAP+), and 50 (39.7%) cases exhibited high LZAP expression (LZAP++ or LZAP+++) (Table 1).
